Sun City's 7 recreation centers are run by RCSC and are open to all residents (covered by the $650/year assessment). Each has its own personality — fitness, pool, classes, clubs — and most residents have a favorite. Full per-center guide is coming. Quick overview:
Bell Rec Center (the largest, 50,000+ sq ft), Lakeview (lakeside, popular for water aerobics), Mountain View (newest construction, modern fitness), Marinette (mid-century original feel), Oakmont (small, neighborhood-feel), Sundial (auditorium for shows + meeting rooms), Fairway (golf-adjacent, club-friendly).
Not technically a rec center but worth mentioning: the Sun Bowl is a 7,000-seat outdoor amphitheater that hosts concerts, holiday events, and community gatherings throughout the cooler months (Oct-April). Free for residents. Often books name acts — past performers have included Frankie Valli, Glen Campbell, and many touring tribute bands.
